Operations Manager (Hospitality)

We are seeking an Operations Manager to join our leadership team. You will be in charge of making important strategic and policy decisions and developing and implementing policies and procedures that will inspire leadership for the operation of our organization's lines of business. Responsibilities:

The Disbursements Supervisor position provides effective and efficient Disbursements Accounting (Payroll and Accounts Payable) functions in accordance with approved policies, procedures and generally accepted accounting practices in order that the strategic/financial objectives of the company are attained.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Business. May substitute additional years of relevant work experience in lieu of degree.

  • Three to five years’ experience as a Payroll Specialist in an organization with 500+ employees and similar experience in Accounts Payable or in a supervisory role over these functions. Direct experience in the preparation of financial reports and analysis, preferably in a health care environment.

  • Strong organizational and analytical skills as well as an ability to motivate and communicate effectively with staff.

HR Generalist (Healthcare)

  • Administer new employee on-boarding and orientation.

Daily Operations Management

Ensures daily operations of transit services.  This position reports to the General Manager.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure proper/timely reporting and data collection procedures are in place and followed.

  • Ensure Operations Department budget performance in coordination with the operation manager.

  • Support the dispatchers and supervisors in the day to day management of operations and service delivery.

  • Communicate regularly with staff and contactors, particularly regarding operational issues.

  • Implement programs to minimize service problems and improve service.

  • Initiate complaint reduction strategies in coordination with other department heads.

  • Manage the performance and assist with performance appraisals of dispatchers and road supervisors and operators.

  • Provide direct oversight of and problem solving with dispatchers and supervisors. 

  • Ensure an excellent relationship with the maintenance manager and support department managers.

  • Identify potential problems and institute corrective actions.

  • Initiate reduction programs and increase communications with labor to reduce grievances.

The Administrative Support is responsible for the overall coordination of the clerical operations for the Team. Performs complex and diversified projects in support of the activities for the assigned areas.

 

Qualifications:

  • High school or the equivalent preferred.

  • If level 2 must have a) Associate Degree in related area and minimum of 3 years experience in business office. b) Proficient with healthcare terminology.

  • One-year experience working in business office and/or hospital unit, preferable.

Admissions Registered Nurse

Responsibilities:

  • Carries primary responsibility for evaluation of all patients referred for hospice services.

  • Is able to articulate all components of the organization's continuum of care and refer patients and families to those as necessary.

  • Assists referring physicians and/or his/her designated liaison with coordinating a plan of care/treatment appropriate patients and their families.

  • Serves as the liaison between our company and physicians, hospitals, long-term care facilities, and other health care professionals.

  • Actively markets, through education, the hospice concept to all health care professionals and providers, as well as the community at large.

 

Qualifications:

  • Florida licensed R.N.; B.S.N. preferred.

  • 1-year medical surgical experience preferred

  • Preferred CHPN Certification.

  • Must possess ability to assess physical and psychosocial needs of patient and family.  Hospice experience highly desirable.

  • Demonstrates excellent verbal and written communication skills.  Bilingual Preferred. Electronic medical record software experience a plus.

  • Organized, flexible, self-motivated with ability to relate to all levels of the professional medical team.

  • Ability to develop and apply effective customer service skills.  Able to work independently with minimum supervision.
